Hello! I’m Rachel, a writer, editor, and local producer based in Munich, Germany. I write about travel, culture and technology.
Writing and editing: I have over a decade of experience in writing for online/print publications — from travel and culture pieces to content marketing pieces on tech, the environment and sustainability.
I work as an editor at ZEIT Verlag’s ZEIT Sprachen, writing and editing articles on work-related topics.
Local producer: I’ve worked as a freelance local producer for the BBC since 2017, recording clips for reports, organising interviews, appearing as a local journalist on World Service shows, and working as an ad-hoc interpreter.
Translation: I translate from German to English for a variety of clients, ranging from the Technische Universität in Munich to designer ANA ALCAZAR.
